Access Log Manager
Find out more on the Access Log Manager and the info that may be inside it.
An access log is a text file that contains an extensive list of all the files accessed by your Internet site visitors. All of the files which were requested in one way or another shall be included, so when you have a PHP script program and a visitor opens just the home page, for example, you might find many files inside the log. The reason is that there are things on the home page that are embedded - parts of other webpages, graphics, etc. All of these files will be listed within the access log, so you're able to get a complete picture of the way your site works. The information is in plain text format, so the logs are sometimes called "raw data" as well. An access log shows the name of each and every requested file, the path to it, the date it was accessed, in addition to the user’s IP address, Internet browser and OS. More info, including the referrer site, is sometimes provided too. A log file can be processed by various desktop applications for statistical purposes as an addition to the web statistics created by your web server.

Access Log Manager in Hosting
When you buy a
hosting from our company, you'll be able to choose if access logs should be produced and for which domains or subdomains in your account this must be done. You could enable this option from the Access/Error Logs section of the Hepsia CP, incorporated with all shared accounts. Every single
domain you host or subdomain you set up will be listed there and you'll see an On/Off option next to each one of them, so you can conveniently enable or disable the generation of access logs independently for every single site that you have. You'll be able to save a log to your personal computer by clicking on the Download link you'll see in the same exact section of the Control Panel. The link is available even if you stop the log generation, so you'll still have access to the data compiled by our system.

semi-dedicated server account with our company, you shall have the option to trigger or deactivate the generation of access logs with no more than a couple of mouse clicks in your Hepsia hosting CP. You'll find this function within the Access/Error Logs section, which you can access after you sign in. All it takes for our system to start producing logs is a click on the On button which you will see there. The function can be activated independently for any Internet site no matter if it uses a domain or a subdomain and you shall find the complete list of all the hosts inside that section. Any access log can be downloaded as a text file with a click and you could then look at it manually or use some software on your PC. The log generation could be disabled by simply changing the On option to Off inside the Logs section of your CP.
